CLIMB Fund is dedicated to creating positive social and economic impact in South Carolina by providing flexible, affordable, and customizable loans to small businesses that struggle to secure traditional financing. Our goal is not only to assist you with your business funding needs, but also to support the growth of your business so that you can secure traditional financing later.

We offer several loan tiers to meet your specific needs. Review the options below to find the right fit for your business.

Microloan

Loan Amount: up to $50,000
Term: up to 7 years
Use of Funds: start-ups or existing businesses that struggle to secure traditional capital.

Small Business Loan

Loan Amount: $50,001 and over
Term: up to 10 years
Use of Funds: capital for sustaining operations or supporting expansion needs, gap financing for projects partiall funded by another lender.

Real Estate Loan

Loan Amount: no limit
Term: up to 10 years, 25 year amortization
Use of Funds: purchase or improve owner-occupied real estate

Line of Credit

Loan Amount: up to $25,000
Term: 1 year, may renew
Use of Funds: small businesses that have short-term or seasonal needs for working capital

Requirement: You must complete the Application Workshop (Step 2) before we can process your submission.

Step 2: Complete the Application Workshop

All prospective borrowers are required to complete our Small Business Loan Application Workshop. This ensures you understand our lending process, what’s required, and how to set yourself up for a successful application.

You can meet this requirement in one of two ways:

Attend a live virtual session
OR watch our 4-part recorded video series at your own pace

If you watch the recorded modules, you must email our Intake Coordinator at Intake@climbfund.org with the key phrase shared during the presentation to verify completion.
